Cecilia Anoushka Patitucci Sharma was born in the Renaissance town of Ferrara, Italy.

Living in the house of her antique dealer father, passionate and collector of antique fabrics, surrounded by many kinds of objets d'art,
she nourished since childhood a deep love for beautiful fabrics and things.

She satisfied this love by graduating in History of Art at the University of Florence, Italy,
where centuries of collectionism and art history breathe at every corner,
then specializing in antique jewelry at Sotheby's, London,
where since childhood she could see the most amazing pieces of art passing from hand to hand.

Traveling since an early age with her father all over the world,
visiting all the major and many minor art collections,
she developed a defined passion and knowledge about fabrics,
directed then into the creation of the Anjali Khadi Clothing Company,
inspired by Swami Kriyananda and humbly dedicated to the benefit of many:
her spiritual Master's Work, to whom she dedicated her life,
and the underprivileged people of the Country where her choice of
life brought her,
the sacred Land of India.

After traveling many times all over India in the footsteps of the Kriya Yoga Masters,
here she was called to be a little part of Paramhansa Yogananda's Work, by his direct disciple Swami Kriyananda,
who in 2003 founded Ananda Sangha India, in New Delhi.

Here she lives, within the Ananda India Community , with her dear husband Vivek,
in common deep Gratitude, Service and Devotion.
