It is
always with a special feeling that we present our extremely
simple, basic line of Khadi clothing, called Ananda India
Yoga Line.
Because we know that behind these fabrics with their
imperfections, there is an infinite reality of
hands and stories.
As Gandhi said, it takes eyes able to truly see, to perceive
the beauty
of Khadi.
It takes us hours of unfolding meters and meters of white Khadi cottons
in order to find a few meters acceptable for western eyes.
It
is with love that we present to you these shirts and trousers, the
cotton and silk kurta pyjamas
which carry with them the true spirit of the country of India and her
people: the experienced weavers of the softest muslins of Rajasthan and
of the raw silks of Bhagalpur, Bihar.
We named this line Ananda India Yoga Line to honor
the realities from which it comes.
